Most people we speak to claim they have never had their rainwater tank cleaned, and claim the water comes out fine; just slightly tinted in colour or with a slight eucalyptus taste.

What happens over time is that leaves and debris enter the tank and begin to de-compose like compost on the bottom of the tank, turning the water a dark coffee colour. This, in turn, greatly affects the drinking quality and health factor of the water.

If there are and water-first flush diverters fitted to the inlet of the rainwater tank, many things commonly enter the tank such as:

Modular Tanks |
Galvanised Tanks |
Polyethelene Tanks |
Fibreglass Tanks |
Large Concrete Tanks |
Underground Tanks |
